2Pac Live Has Another Release Date

It appears the on again off again saga of a new Tupac album is again on.

Koch posted this on their web site around April 16th. I did not mention it because it was quickly taken down because lawyers for Afeni had not approved the release. It is a Death Row /Koch release.

According to Koch the new Tupac album is to drop the same day as Kurupt's - June 29th

All that is known is that it will be a 'Live' version of performances done while Tupac was on Death Row Records. Using the newest technology, these are to be high quality recordings. There will also be a DVD to accompany the CD.

And now it is up again on CD Universe, with a release date of Aug. 10th

I have been told this album is coming but an exact date was hard to say because of the lawyers being involved. It seems now they have it worked out and as you can see by the listing it is available for pre-order
