Tupac is in the November Issue of The Source. The issue examines the dramatic side of the late Tupac’s film career .Here is the primer for The article:
In “Follow the Leader” (page 92), Tupac Shakur’s performances on film are celebrated from 1992’s Juice to 1997’s Gang Related where his characters embodied bad boy charm and a passionate presence. “What I saw was a guy with real Shakespearean acting chops. The guy who had the potential to play different characters other than the personal of Pac he developed as a hip-hop artist,” says Dr. Todd Boyd, professor of cinema studies at the University of Southern California.
